Barnett Quad Edge Crossbow
The Quad Edge runs about 340-350 FPS from a 125-150-lb draw (specs vary by source and the S variant), uses standard 22-inch Headhunter bolts, and ships without any cocking device - owners add a rope cocker or crank separately. The 37.9375-inch string confirms the Headhunter fit.
Barnett built the Quad Edge as an update to the quad-limb concept behind the older Quad 400, with a faster, lighter stock. Full specs, bolt fit and what is and is not included are below.

Specs and the Quad 400 Connection
The Quad Edge keeps the four-limb, parallel-limb layout that defined the Quad 400 - a magnesium riser with laminated limbs rather than the usual two-limb compound build - but updates the stock and trims weight for a faster shot: 340 FPS on the standard model and 350 FPS on the Quad Edge S, against the Quad 400's 345 FPS. Barnett also lightened the trigger to roughly 3.5 lbs with a redundant spring-loaded safety bar as part of its Anti Dry Fire system.
Dimensions are close to the Quad 400's but not identical - 36 inches overall and 21 inches axle-to-axle uncocked, at the same 6.9-lb weight. Sources disagree slightly on draw weight and kinetic energy between the standard model and the S variant, which is typical for a current package sold through multiple retailers rather than one standardized listing.
Headhunter Bolts and the 37.9375-Inch String
There is no Hyper in the Quad Edge's name, so it takes standard-diameter Headhunter bolts rather than the narrow Hyperflite shaft - the package ships with three 22-inch carbon arrows.
The string length confirms the fit independently of the name: aftermarket makers cut the Quad Edge's bowstring at 37.9375 inches with 21.6875-inch cables - close to, but distinct from, the Quad 400's 39.625-inch string, so the two are not interchangeable despite the shared Quad name and bolt family. See the fit by model page for both.

No Cocking Device Included
Unlike the rope-cocker-equipped Quad 400, the Quad Edge does not ship with any cocking device - owners add a basic rope cocker or a crank cocking device separately, and the stock supports mounting one. At 125-150 lbs of draw, a rope cocker is manageable for most shooters, but a crank is worth the extra cost if shoulder or back strength is a concern.
Where to Buy a Quad Edge
The Quad Edge is a current Barnett package sold through several archery and outdoor retailers; it does not have a confirmed live Amazon listing at the time of writing. What is reliably available: 22-inch Headhunter bolts, rope cockers and cranks, and lube wax.
If buying secondhand, check the limbs, cams and rail the same way you would on any Barnett - those structural parts are not made aftermarket. Either way, re-zero the scope at 20 yards before the first hunt; the sighting-in guide covers the order that avoids wasted bolts.
